Made For City Life, Made For You
How do you decide which Vitamin C face serum is the right one for you? There are tons of confusing options out there with very little differentiation available. We at Detoxie, have made our face serum basis our urban lifestyles and the environment we live in. While most of us look for Vitamin C, it is equally important to infuse it with an ingredient that takes care of the environmental stressors like pollution and UV rays. Japanese Matcha works best, aided by Moringa to tackle this menace, while Retinol, Vitamin E, Niacinamide and other ingredients work their magic to de-stress the skin, make it supple and restore the lost glow.
A Serum's best combination, Vitamin C & Japanese Matcha
Vitamin C: It has plenty of skin-healing properties besides being a great antioxidant. It is highly acidic which triggers the skin to heal itself by accelerating the production of collagen and elastin. Collagen and elastin are both naturally occurring protein fibers that help keep skin plump and firm. It inhibits skin's melanin production, which is what causes skin discoloration like dark spots and hyperpigmentation.
Japanese Matcha: Japanese Matcha: Matcha is very high in antioxidants, especially catechins. These antioxidants promote smoother and more supple skin due to its ability to rejuvenate skin cells and support skin structure. It is also packed with chlorophyll, and multiple other nutrients like Vitamin A, C, K & B-complex, a combination that prevents cell degeneration and premature ageing.
Enhanced Glow With Moringa, Ashwagandha & Hyaluronic Acid
Moringa Oleifera Oil: It contains oleic acid, a fatty acid that acts like a healthy skin barrier offering mega-hydration and anti-ageing perks. Moringa Oil is an emollient which acts as a barrier to help seal in moisture.
Ashwagandha extract: Ashwagandha is the antidote to skin stress. When the skin is stressed, it ends up with wrinkles, fine lines and tired eyes, and these very symptoms reduce when the skin gets relaxed, lending a healthier and radiant look to the skin.
Hyaluronic acid: penetrates the skin and binds water to skin cells, infusing all layers of the skin with valuable, rejuvenating moisture.
What Is A Face Serum & How Is It Different From A Cream?
If you’ve ever wondered what a serum is and how is it different from a cream, here’s your answer. A serum is a skincare product that is designed to deliver a high concentration of certain active ingredients to our skin. This is possible because a serum is made up of smaller molecules. The Detoxie face serum has been formulated for 2 specific purposes- first, to fight the visible effects of fatigue & stress and to recover the lost glow. Secondly, to enhance the skin barrier so that it is less susceptible to the environmental pollution and it’s damaging effects. Japanese Matcha helps us deliver that punch. The serum is able to penetrate effectively into the skin, thus hydrating better. The good part – it can be used under any cream or moisturizer.
